Recording Van Dyck’s Philip Herbert, 4th Earl of Pembroke, with his Family

Factum Foundation
2020
Wilton House, Wiltshire

In August 2020, I worked for Factum Foundation as part of a two person team scanning Anthony Van Dyck’s Philip Herbert, 4th Earl of Pembroke, with his Family. Described by the Tate as Van Dyck’s “largest and most ambitious work”, the painting measures 330x510cm, and is displayed in a bespoke frame inside Inigo Jones´ majestic Double Cube room.
